Our client is a leader in the power generation and industrial solutions sector, serving key sectors across the region for decades, and is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Account Manager to support its development and growth in the Energy and O&G markets. The successful candidate will lead strategic planning efforts, align operational and procurement initiatives, and build high-impact relationships with industry stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategies to enhance growth and efficiency in the Oil & Gas and Marine business lines
- Analyze industry trends to support data-driven decision-making
- Build relationships with key partners, clients, and suppliers
- Oversee procurement strategies, vendor negotiations, and contract management
- Identify new supplier opportunities and evaluate performance
- Lead customer engagement efforts to elevate service delivery standards
- Prepare regular reports and strategy presentations for senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering (petroleum), supply chain, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas and/or Marine industries
- Proven track record in strategic planning, procurement, and cross-functional leadership
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch and French are a plus
- Experienced in managing change and driving operational improvements
