Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to finance, procurement, HR and operations departments.
• Ensure the company and employees are fully compliant with Surinamese laws and regulations by fulfilling all legal and statutory requirements.
• Manage the application, renewal and tracking of work permits and other government-required documentation.
• Handle accounts payables and ensure timely settlement of obligations.
• Coordinate purchasing of materials and supplies in line with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing physical and digital documents, including invoices, purchase orders, employee records and other documentation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to payroll, Social Security, Wage Tax (PAYE) and other statutory submissions (where applicable).
• Accurately enter and update data in spreadsheets, databases and systems.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers and regulatory authorities professionally and promptly.
• Perform general all-round administrative duties to support the smooth operations of the Suriname office.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
• Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of Surinamese labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.
• Strong knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Working knowledge of office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel).
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and regulations will be an advantage.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements:
• 5-7+ years' experience in administration.
• Minimum 3+ CSEC passes including Mathematics and English; additional education or certification in administration is a plus.
