For one of our clients we are looking for Sales Managers. As the Sales Manager you will be managing an efficient process for storage, sales, distribution, and all related administrative tasks to ensure customers are optimally supplied (on time and in the desired quantities) with all products sold and distributed by the company, while also maximizing the market share of these products. 

Areas of Responsibility
  • Optimization of product/service sales.
  • Achieving sales targets based on the sales and distribution policy.
  • Developing a sales plan with desired sales results within a specific timeframe.
  • Increasing market share.


Requirements

  • HBO-level education in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant leadership experience in a customer and market-focused environment.
  • Ability to act strategically, assertively, and dynamically.
  • A commercial and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Capability to work under pressure (stress-resilience).
  • Strong analytical, accurate, results-driven, and customer-focused approach, with decisiveness and initiative-taking.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong reporting skills.
  • Outstanding leadership qualities, perseverance, and a team player attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze problems and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Navision (CRM software).
  • An honest, committed, and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to take on multiple roles within the organization.
  • Possession of a valid BE driver's license.
What will you be doing? 
  • Leads the Sales and Distribution team.
  • Implements or oversees the implementation of sales and distribution policies in alignment with the organization’s vision, mission, strategy, and operational goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Drives growth and achieves sales targets by successfully managing the Sales and Distribution team.
  • Ensures optimal sales planning, including short- and long-term forecasting, and effective inventory planning.
  • Develops and executes effective trade and distribution plans (sales plans).
  • Analyzes sales statistics and market data, prepares sales forecasts, and evaluates the profitability of products and services.
  • Advises the commercial department on marketing matters based on conducted analyses.
  • Provides quality recommendations and suggests improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Trade & Distribution and Consumer Response.
  • Identifies market trends and shifts through customer interactions and stays informed on new products, developments, and competitors to contribute to sales and distribution strategies.
  • Contributes to operational policy within their expertise and is responsible for the operational management of the organization.
  • Collects and maintains accurate market data and information.
  • Assists in preparing performance analyses of competing brands.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of annual Trade & Distribution strategies, plans, and programs.
  • Proposes discount rates and special pricing plans.
  • Maintains close relationships with the market, including key accounts.
  • Follows up on signals and feedback from the market.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensures effective and efficient financial administration and monitors the budget.
  • Oversees an efficient sales and distribution system.
  • Enforces adherence to work and administrative procedures.
  • Ensures proper use and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Reviews and evaluates execution consequences.
  • Participates as a member and sparring partner of the Management Team, contributing to general policy within their field of expertise and ensuring their department’s interests are balanced in decision-making.
  • Keeps professional knowledge up to date and engages in knowledge transfer.
