For one of our clients we're looking for an Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer (CO) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing an effective compliance program through policy, monitoring, and reporting. The goal is to ensure that the compliance framework supports the organization's strategic plan.
The CO reports directly to the Executive Board and/or Supervisory Board and, in collaboration with other Compliance Officers, oversees the implementation and continuous improvement of the overall compliance program of the remittance office.
As a Compliance Officer, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust compliance program that ensures adherence to relevant laws and regulations, including AML/CFT standards and the Money Transaction Offices Supervision Act 2012.
Your role includes monitoring integrity risks (SIRA), reporting to stakeholders such as the FIU, CBvS, and Western Union, and preparing for internal and external audits. You coordinate compliance training, conduct inspections, manage customer data retention, and lead improvement projects within the department.
In addition to supervising other Compliance Officers, you advise senior management on compliance policy and contribute to the organization’s long-term compliance strategy, including the development of Vision 2026. You actively participate in risk meetings, audits, and training sessions to keep compliance aligned with business goals.
