We are seeking an experienced and strategic Country Manager to lead and oversee all operations and activities in Suriname. In this role, you will be responsible for managing shared services, projects, financial performance, and organizational processes while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. You will act as the key representative of the company in Suriname, driving growth, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring that business objectives are achieved with excellence.
Requirements
- University Degree, Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven managerial experience in a similar leadership role.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Extensive knowledge of operational, financial, and project management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively influence, coach, and collaborate in diverse cultural environments.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting and exceeding expectations.
- Strong financial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Knowledge of API standards, ISO 9001, OSHA, and EPA requirements is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to core values with the ability to lead by example.
What will you be Doing?
In this position, you will take full responsibility for the operations and strategic direction of the Suriname business unit. You will oversee daily operations, manage financial performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients. You will lead and mentor the local team, drive business growth through client and supplier engagement, and implement safety, compliance, and organizational policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting and achieving KPIs, financial forecasting, and representing the company in key stakeholder relationships.
