About the Role
As a Drilling Specialist, you will be at the forefront of operational excellence. You will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all drilling activities in compliance with IADC and ISO standards. Your role is pivotal in ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost control throughout each phase of the drilling lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate drilling engineering designs and risk assessments
• Lead pre-drilling inspections and guide third-party equipment tests
• Optimize drilling parameters based on real-time data and formations
• Coordinate multidisciplinary operations between departments and contractors
• Manage emergency situations and execute contingency plans effectively
• Ensure strict QHSE compliance and promote a zero-incident work culture
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure alignment with operational goals
• Drive innovation by introducing new technologies and process improvements
• Coach and mentor junior engineers in documentation and technical reporting

You Bring

• A degree in Petroleum Engineering or related technical field
• Proven experience in drilling engineering and field operations
• Strong knowledge of IADC/API standards and real-time monitoring systems
• Leadership skills and the ability to thrive in multicultural environments
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
