We are looking for an experienced and proactive Field Service Manager to lead subsea installation and intervention operations in Paramaribo, Suriname. In this role, you will manage and guide a large technical and executional team of over 100 personnel, ensuring operational excellence onshore and offshore. You will oversee planning, resource allocation, client engagement, and compliance with quality, safety, and contractual standards, while driving continuous improvement across all service operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- 4+ years of field service or technical experience in drilling, completion, or intervention.
- Previous international experience in project management, planning, or coordination is a strong asset.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with proven ability to manage large teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead in diverse cultural environments.
- Solid financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SAP, and TCE systems.
- Knowledge of API standards, ISO 9001, OSHA, and EPA requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
What will you be doing?
In this position, you will oversee subsea service operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will manage resource allocation for technical and executional teams, guide supervisors, and mentor service personnel. You will be the key point of contact for clients and suppliers, ensuring strong relationships and compliance with contractual obligations. Additionally, you will monitor financial performance, implement continuous improvement programs, and ensure all operations meet company policies, HSE standards, and local regulations.
