For one of our clients, we are looking for a Finance Back-office Assistant who will work remotely from Suriname and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a fast-growing Dutch company. The company, operating under the brand Eefy, delivers smart charging solutions, innovative software, and mobility services for electric vehicles across multiple countries.
Requirements
- Completed finance-related education at MBO level 4 or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial administration.
- Familiarity with accounting software and solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured working approach.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a distributed team.
- A proactive mindset, eager to learn and contribute to process improvements.
What will you be doing?
As a Finance Back-office Assistant, you’ll be responsible for executing core financial and administrative tasks in coordination with the finance team in the Netherlands. You will process transactions, manage accounts receivable, reconcile accounts, and assist with monthly and yearly financial closing activities. You’ll work according to Suriname office hours (09:00–17:30), which aligns with 14:00–22:30 Dutch time, depending on daylight saving time. This gives you the flexibility to follow your own rhythm while being fully in sync with the Netherlands-based team.
