Job Purpose
Lead and oversee plumbing operations on construction and maintenance projects, ensuring proper installation, repair, and inspection of plumbing systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Supervision: Oversee daily plumbing activities on-site, ensuring work is completed according to plans and schedules.
- Team Leadership: Assign tasks to plumbers and helpers, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance and support.
- Plumbing Installation: Ensure proper installation of pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems in compliance with codes.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose plumbing issues and perform or supervise timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret plumbing drawings and specifications to guide installation and layout.
- Coordination with Trades: Collaborate with other site supervisors and traders to align plumbing work with overall project progress.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and incidents for reporting purposes.
Education
School certificate.
Experience
- Minimum six years of experience in plumbing experience.
- Good background in warehouse delivery operations.
- A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
